alright, was checking my e-mail.
and i think that this will be interesting to be one of my entry=D
credits to the one who created this mail=))
anything in black will be my additions.
other than that, it’s from the e-mail.
One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer’s neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon,
everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred – Forgive.
Proverbs 10:12 says, Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.
2. Free your mind from worries – Most never happen.
in Matthew 6:27 – Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
Hebrews 13:5 – …. be content with what you have….
4. Give more.
for the Bible says, it’s more blessed to give than to receive. – Acts 20:35
5. Expect less.
‘In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love. ‘
- Mother Theresa
i just feel that i need to post this up=D
this might just encourage someone who happened to stumble across my blog.
it also explains how i manage to remain happy and cheerful always=D
thank God for the someone who wrote this great example.
because.
lazy me have been wanting to churn out a post on the rules of being happy.
remember that whenever the situation seems so very very bad.
don’t worry and don’t forget to MOVE ON!
no point grieve over spilled milk.
just move on!
just as i finish typing the previous sentence,
the song “He will carry you” comes to mind.
so.
the following lyric will conclude my current entry=D
He will carry you – Lyric
There is no problem too big
God cannot solve
There is no mountain too tall
He cannot move
There is not storm too dark
God cannot calm
There is no sorrow too deep
He cannot soothe
If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders
I know, my brother that He will carry you
If He carried the weight of the world upon His shoulders
I know, my sister that He will carry you
He said come on to me all who are weary
And I will give you rest.
