On a random day, my dear friend (Charis) twitted something really random. After bouncing off some tweets, she ended with the following reply. “When God made you, you came from His heart. God made 1 wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, marvelous, lovely, remarkable, special 1 of you.”
I was once again reminded of God’s special arrangement for me thus far.
There’s this stirring in my heart the past week about my indescribable thankfulness.
Out of a blue, I came to realised the following:
1. My mum gave birth to me at the age of 36. In other words, there’re risks involved for giving birth to me. There may be complications for giving birth to me. There may be a chance that I may be stillborn, born with birth defects etc. Thank God that I’m ok, born normally.
2. According to my aunty, my mum actually have difficulty in conceiving because of her irregular menses cycle and don’t know what. Thank God that I’m born nevertheless.
3. Granny decided to babysit me when I’m 2 years old. When I asked her why, she just said she wanted to. I Thank God that she made this decision, if not I will not have such great relationships with my cousins (maternal side).
4. I also Thank God for the aunties and uncles (maternal side) for taking care of me the way just like how they will treat their children. Considering me just like their beloved.
5. Thank God for granting me with granny, aunties, uncles and cousins that have been always there for me!
I’m even more convinced that God has chosen me to be where I should be. The exact family, the church that I worship in, the friends and colleagues that I have, the exact places that I should live. He planned every single details my life, from the big picture of who I am to the very seconds in my life.
I believe those heartaches regarding my family background that I once experienced are part of God’s moulding process for me. His big project for me. And for this, I’m grateful to Him. If it’s not for this big project, I don’t think I’ll be who I’m today.
“Maria” VS “Bangala” VS Me!

The past 2 months are the craziest month for me thus far (for year 2012).
My parent’s flat was declared to be En-Bloc a few years back, the new flat is ready early this year!
I went about the paper work for the new flat, discuss about renovation, buying of furniture & electronic stuff, coordinating the contractors, arranged for “YAF” to help out to paint the house, clean up the house etc etc.
Left with the last stage, moving of my parent’s residence & unpacking it into the new flat & it’ll be job done for me!
Juggling between work & overseeing “this project”.
Handling “this project” alone is total MADNESS!
Gosh! Ultimate draining physically.
Time to time again, i really feel like sleeping all day long.
If ever i have a super power, I will want all these brain taxing & physical draining activities to be carried out while I’m sleeping!
Thank you all who had generously offered you help!
Thank you all who had encouraged me in a way or another!
All these really are bonus to me! Giving me the extra strength to see through it.
Most of all, I know there’s a greater plan behind all these.
P.S.: Was reading through all my past post & …
Finally I’ve decided to revive my posting!
This explains everything…

Romans 13:1-7
Submission to the Authorities
1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4 For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.
6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
The above mentioned short passage clearly explains what we as citizens should do.
I was burdened upon knowing what’ll be coming up after the nomination day on 27 April 2011. At a glance on what’s happening, having many opposition “popped” out from don’t know where really bring me to my knees to pray for my nation, Singapore.
I have too many things to say about the coming election that i don’t know where i should start. Whatever it may be, 7 May 2011 will reveal what it ought to be for the good of Singapore.
Vote for the party which you’d benefited from thus far. Vote not out of fear, spite, emotions nor circumstance. Vote for the party which you think is capable to bring Singapore into another level of progress. Vote not out what’s being circulating on the internet. Vote for the party which you think deserve to be governing your constituency in Singapore. Vote for the party because you are comfortable with it. Vote wisely and responsibly.
Have faith in the party that you’ll be voting for.
